We won't have too long, but we'll take what we can get :) Also, if you do plan on coming, let me know so that I'm not stuck tearing up the floor and putting stuff away, leaving me with no chance to see you. I would love to see anyone I know while on tour! I'm so excited to be able to do this!!

In the swing of things!

Now that I've been back in school for about a month (wow!), I'm feeling the groove of the semester. My classes are definitely going full motion, I'm having some great times with friends, and I've found a job!

I found this job thanks to David and Heather. It involves a good wage, I can listen to my iPod while I work, I get to choose my own hours, and how many hours a week I want. I'm cleaning washing machines! Haha, so it's not super glamorous, but who says you need a glamorous job to get through college? It's not a fun job, but it's basically perfect for me right now. With slightly odd rehearsal times, it's so much easier to be able to do my own scheduling. I just have to make sure and schedule it, and not slack off!

I have so many wonderful friends and roommates! A couple of weekends ago, me and my roommate Hannah went to the Comedy Improv show here on campus. It was a show put on by The Society, which is an improv group with Kirby Heyborne, Lincoln Hoppe, and Corbin Allred (all LDS movie stars). It was so much fun! They were oh so hilarious!! It's not even something that you can describe, but we had a blast! And afterwards we went and got our pictures taken with each person, including the guy who played piano for them (who was amazing as well!).

So excited for the show!!! And super gross from dancing all....day....long.....

Me and Hannah with Lincoln Hoppe...

...with the amazing improv piano guy (I can't remember his name)...

....with Kelly....

....with Kirby Heyborne!! ....

....and with Corbin Allred!

Then that Saturday I went home and brought Hannah with me! My mom had come up for Melissa's baby shower in Idaho Falls, so they came and got me and we all went home to Burley! The main reason for going home was because Jakie Poo had a Trendsetter concert that he had been begging me to come to for a long time now. I actually didn't ever tell him I was coming, so it was a surprise. I was really excited to see his reaction and everything, and then when he first saw me he didn't get excited at all. Of course, at the time he was running late for the concert, but it was a little bit of a bummer. But then after the show (which was so fun!) he was pretty excited, so it's all good :) It was so much fun to have Hannah come home with me, so I could show her everything that I grew up with. And it was fun because she appreciated it! It's kind of a bummer when you show someone something really important to you, and they act like it's no big deal. So Hannah made it fun for me :)

So we have a big chalkboard in my apartment, and somehow it got turned into the Megan Love Board. Hahaha, most of my roommates and some other friends left me some notes, a picture, and even a poem on it! It's been erased by now, but it was fun while it lasted :)

Another random fun thing that we attempted was making a chocolate topping for some Rice Krispy treats. We melted all of the chocolate chips we had, but there wasn't very much so Jane suggested that we add some sweetened condensed milk to make it go a bit further. Well it ended up not working so well. The chocolate all clumped up, and it tasted a tiny bit funny. It actually looked exactly like hamburger meat. Not exactly something you want to put on Rice Krispy treats that your roommate is taking to all the girls in the Relief Society haha. Instead we just ended up eating it. I ate it with a banana and it wasn't too bad :)

My classes are keeping me plenty busy too. We're learning Mambo right now in Ballroom, which is pretty fast and giving me a pretty good sized challenge! And I just had my first test in my Clogging class. I don't know what I got yet, but I felt alright about it. My Real World Math class is giving me a bit of grief. I haven't taken a math class since my junior year of high school. So I guess it's appropriate that I'm taking it as a junior in college now, eh? It just takes way more time than I have. So hopefully I can pass it! My Doctrine and Covenants class is fabulous! I have been gaining a lot out of it, and I love my teacher! I'm also taking a Color Photography class which is going to be very helpful. I'm already enjoying the assignments so far! And of course Dance Alliance is going just fabulous :) We just learned the opening number for our show, and it is so much fun! Very high energy, and consists of two of my favorite styles of dance--jazz and African.

Also, I just got a letter from Parker this past week, and he is just doing so good!! It's always such a treat to hear from him :) He's been out for just over 5 months now! It's going by faster than I expected! And yet, still not fast enough. Haha.

The sun has finally decided to come out in Rexburg! The weather has started to warm up, which is definitely enough to make someone smile. Today after church I sat outside on the lawn to do my homework for an hour and a half, and then my friend Kassi came over and us and Jane sat outside for another hour and a half just hanging out. It's been SO nice! I even got a little bit of a sunburn :)

New semester!

So this is my first semester being on Fast Grad. Usually I'm off track in the summer, so this is different! My classes are all pretty good so far. I'm only taking two dance classes, but they are so much fun! I'm taking a ballroom class, which is way different from anything I've ever done before! I've never partner danced, so it's really difficult for me to learn how to follow. I also have to learn the boy's part, so that just adds to the difficulty. But, it's dance, and I'm willing to work at it :) The other dance class I'm taking is clogging, which is by far my favorite class! I've never clogged before, which just seems to be a shame. It's incredibly addicting, and it's a crazy good workout! Since I sprained my ankle in September (and never really let it heal...), clogging has been making it hurt a bit more. And I get some pretty nasty shin splints. But let me just say that it is totally worth it. That's how cool clogging is :)

The search for the job is an ongoing, and so far unsuccessful, venture. I had a job interview at the end of last semester, and was given the job, but then I lost it because siblings can't work the same job on campus, and David was already working there. So now I have to try and find a different one. It's really hard at this point, because most people have already done they're hiring, but I'm being positive! There really is no other alternative, right? :)

Dance Alliance rehearsals have picked right back up! We started off with learning Hairspray, which is a way fun, high energy dance with all 36 of us in it. And now I'm learning a Fosse dance, which is so much fun! Fosse is a very stylized type of jazz dance. Some of the songs that we're doing it to is Bye Bye Blackbird, Hey Big Spender, and All That Jazz. For this dance we're wearing character shoes, which is really different for me. I've never danced in any sort of a heel before. I wore them today during rehearsal for two and half hours, and my feet were feeling it! It's definitely going to take some getting used to, but it'll be way fun :) I'm so blessed to be on such an amazing dance team!
